Uringa Curry Night 2022

Why is everyone dressed for the outdoors at a party inside? COVID-19 isn’t over yet, so all the doors were open on this late winter night to ensure good air flow.

Socialising is back on, with care, and Uringa held its first Winter Dinner since 2019. It’s bring an appetite, bring a plate, bring something to drink.

Did we mention dessert?

Social Secretary Gayle Shepherd organised a door prize, a guessing competition and spot prizes (all appropriately themed). Mary Jane Mahony offered a gallery of photos from Christmas parties past and challenged everyone to match the year with the photo. Ron Pallas did the master of ceremonies honors on the night.

Guess the number of chilies in the jar.

The MC points outjust how wrong many of the guesses were...
and his secret to remembering the correct number..

In what year were those children that age? Whose home was it?

The competition winner.
There was a surprise birthday cake for Brian Cleland to celebrate his 85th.

There were good wishes to the three party-goers who would have to get up early the next morning to run in the City-to-Surf.

Thanks to organiser Gayle Shepherd and venue mistress Helen Murphy.
