Day 1 Aussie 3 Days - Jamestown SA

I would suggest the main talking point of the day was dust, dust and dust. The 20 odd kilometres into the event saw drivers stopping, hesitating as patches of bull dust made vision next to impossible.

The light dust on the main road leading to the event

The orienteering was fantastic - fast and very furious. The vegetation was open and the ground just right for those who could fly. The creeks were steep sided and getting in and out was a real challenge in some places. The erosion around the creeks made route choice very interesting and challenging as you approached the control.
Good fun!
