Successful conclusion to Metro League hosted by Uringa

Uringa wrapped up the 2018 MetrO league in style yesterday, with the UR-CC Harriers claiming victory in Division 2 and two individual wins for club members – Shane Doyle in Division 2 and Melanie Christie in Division 5. The final event #6 was held at Boggabilla Lansdowne Park in ideal weather conditions, with mild temperatures, no wind and only a drizzle of rain. Participants also got to enjoy a Sunday morning lie-in, with starts commencing later than usual to avoid a clash with another sports event which ended up being cancelled.
