Wagga Wagga is 5-6 hours drive from Sydney. The Waggaroos are a strong orienteering club but they couldn't do it alone. This was a multi-club event overseen by Event Directors Alex and Ron.
Catering, especially coffee, is right up there with good course setting and fine weather in importance. Catering by the NSW Junior Squad was particularly impressive.
Coffee vans from Wagga were clearly sweet-talked to come out on dirt roads to supply the caffeine needy.
