Simmo's Beach success for Uringa

The long awaited Metro 1 finally was a done deal on Sunday. The council had specified a number of  conditions for our use but they certainly were not draconian to say the least. the venue was most enjoyable with some tricky paths and some beaut rock features.  The vegetation was pretty friendly. Hopefully the council will allow us back here again in the future

Uringa had a great day with 3 divisional wins from our 4 teams. Division 3 had a resounding win over Garingal 37 - 18. Division 4 won 34 - 20 over Western and Hills and Division 5 also triumphed over Western and Hills 40 - 14. Division 1 were equal 4th.

Individually Uringans also did really well especially Maggie and Linda- 1st place in their respective courses.
