During the presentation at the Easter 3 Day, Ron was awarded the inaugural David Hogg medal for Services to Event Managment !!! Congratulations on this award which is indeed very well deserved.
Of course all Uringans know how much Ron puts into orienteering; but this award recognised Ron in particular for his role as Event Director for JWOC 2007 and the Easter Carnival 2008 in Dubbo as well as for his continued leadership in the use of the SportIdent timing system in NSW.
There you go, Mr Orienteering and Mr SportIdent - one big mega star for Ron !!
