Cataract Scout Park (Long Championships) and the University of Wollongong (Sprint Championships) were the venues for this year's NSW School Championships. (State League 10 and 11 were also held - see separate post).
This was the opportunity for individuals to represent their schools, as well as for regions to compete through their represented schools. Young Uringans were represented on the podium.

NSW Schools Sprint Championship
This event required running a morning and an afternoon sprint. With many controls, turns and twists, there was great opportunity for missing controls and making navigation errors.

Media Exposure for NSW Schools Team Members
Channel 9 Illawarra was out in force to report on the Sunday event. This included interviewing members of the NSW All Schools Team, the Carbines. Uringan Serena Doyle shared her enthusiasm at the microphone!
