Pymble Ladies College was the site of a flourishing completion of the 2017 NSW State League Orienteering Series.Sunshine on the green, a party atmosphere and good orienteering made it an enjoyable morning out. On top of this the event was a fund-raiser for Westmead Hospital's Bandaged Bear Appeal.
The orienteering was technically challenging on a complex map with excellent course setting offering route choice, change of direction, and occasional plain 'where am I' confusion due to levels, corners and overhangs.
Uringans were well represented on the podium.

MetroLeague awards were also presented. Uringa's winning team was rather under-represented at the presentation, but Serena Doyle (team and individual) and Gayle Shepherd did their best.
